We talked with Artem Ugolov, who began a solo career to dot all of I. How did the Joker disintegration occur? In fact, we just grew up. We grew up from the Joker group. This was our mutual decision. Last year, it turned out to be difficult, it was a verification for the group. Of course, there were also ups and falls, but the distance played an important role.

And at the end of the year, Fariz and I phoned and talked for a very long time about the group, about the future, and it was decided that each of us would go about our own business, move in our direction. What was it like to post information about the collapse of the group for their audience? Very difficult and emotional. If you think that it is so easy to bring down the news of decay on your fans, then you are mistaken.

I was shaking everything while posting information. Despite the fact that I tried to combine the news about the collapse of the group with the beginning of a solo career, thereby brightening up this event, the reaction was the most different. Of course, there were those who could not accept the news and immediately began to look for the guilty, but the majority reacted with understanding and supported us in this difficult decision and in our solo endeavors.

When it was decided to decay, did you know that you would continue your career as a solo artist, or there were other options?

I always knew that the time would come when I would leave the group. The answer is actually very simple, this is my age - I am 26, and when there were three of us, I was much older than the guys. Of course, over time, such a moment came that I would have to go into a solo career, it was only a matter of time. But, since last year was a verification for the group, we decided to disperse now.

And of course, I would not want to go to another group. I am a self -sufficient person, the formed artist, I have my own vision. I know what I want, I know in which direction I work, how to develop as a solo artist. I myself, roughly speaking, is a producer. Therefore, there were no doubts about the solo project. I knew that I would do it. We know that before the Joker group you also spoke with other groups as a vocalist.

Now you are an absolutely solo artist. Tell me about your impressions of work solo. This is a very interesting question. Yes, indeed, before, I always worked in groups. I'm used to it. A solo project is a fairly serious stage in my life. And it would be strange if I had not worried. For me, a solo project is primarily my soul. This is what I really am. A solo career is when you know what you want when you do what you want, dress as you want, write and perform the music you want.

Of course, there are always people with whom you interact. The same company you are released, the team you work with, but you make decisions for yourself and I like it. You recently had a premiere of the debut single "on the counter." What we congratulate you with! Tell us more about this work. You know, initially no one accepted this song from the team. But I knew that it was precisely she should be done first in the album.

The name fully characterizes the song. She is about when you go against the current, against the system, against imposing opinions, against some format formed in all format, I would even say. For me, the most important thing is to be free, and if you do not go against the current - you do not feel alive. And no matter how thorny this path, any obstacles - they are nothing, because you have a business for which you live.

You have a lot of experience in the field of music. What is he, the solo project of Artem Ugolov? Will you adhere to the same sound, style of execution as in the "Jokers"? Or do we expect something completely new from you? This is the first word that can characterize my solo project. In part, this will, of course, be electronic music, because this style is close to me.

My vocal, as before, is recognizable, but the sound has changed, "grew." It will be much older than music, much older texts. I always loved to experiment and, specifically, the solo project of Artem Ugolov - this is honesty and experiment. I will try myself in different directions, to achieve my sound, we will see, everything is ahead. As for the audience, I would like to see among the listeners of people of completely different ages and tastes.

It is always interesting and pleasant. Therefore, I will try to focus on a different audience. Share your plans. What will you please your listeners in the near future? Plane plans, of course. I want to show myself as I am. At the moment, we are making my first debut mini-album, which was called “honestly” and will consist of 6 tracks. Now there is work on the main lead-link with an album.

It will be called "Points". Soon we will start filming the clip. I admit that each song from this album is a separate story of my life, a very personal story.Love is my greatest inspiration and my very big pain. And the single “Points” is just about the experienced love, which remains far in the past, but the memories of it still cause me a smile. And now, your heart is free? Yes, but it does not sadden me, because now I have completely devoted myself to music and an album.

Everything around me is love. It manifests itself in different forms, in the same support of loved ones, friends, fans. Do you have your own team with which you work, which you trust? Or do you prefer to do everything yourself? I am very glad to work with my sound producer, this is my very good friend-Plato Vasilevsky. Absolutely all the elaboration of the album does.

I completely trust him, since our ideas about what modern high -quality music should be are very similar. I also have my own team with which we work together, think over ideas and do everything in general. Do you have a kind of “advisers” who are sure that everything that you are doing now will not be in demand? Such "advisers" have always been. But what is now, what then - I always went to my goal.

And the more prohibitions and critics, the stronger I want to achieve it. And if you pay attention to the negative, then what is the point of what I do? First of all, I am engaged in creativity for myself and, of course, in order to delight my listeners. And finally, a few words to their fans. What do you want to wish them?
