After completing his studies at the Faculty of Faculty of Bashgogosunievett, he taught for several years in schools of the Burzyansky district, then worked as amended by the newspaper Pioneer of Bashkortostan, the board of the Union of Writers of the Republic.

He graduated from the highest literary courses in Moscow. The beginning of the active creative activity of Timer Yusupov dates back to the years of the last century. In the cycle of poems “Life”, in the first collection of poems “The Taste of bread”, the poet in dramatic paintings draws the fate of a whole generation, which overcame all the hardships of the war with selfless labor, spiritual stamina.

Timer Yusupov is a representative of a generation whose childhood coincided with the war. Therefore, the lyrical hero of his works is often a person with a dramatic fate, not lost in the most difficult situations, boldly and confidently walking towards great goals. At the same time, the originality of the poet’s work lies in the close plexus of today with a historical past.

In this regard, he appears as a link between the past and the future, between different generations. A red thread stretches from the work to the work of the author’s desire not to injure the heart, not to offend the souls of women scorched by the fire - widows, veterans, their destroyed fates. The motive for respect for the native land is the central in the poems “Return to the village”, “son”, “oak”.

In the book “Thoughts on the rock”, a poetic thought was especially pronounced about the inseparability of the fate of the poet with the fate of all mankind, all of the Earth. The monologue develops from the past to today's “beginning of the century”, “invasion”, “between two dawns”, “the ringing of a medal”. The poet’s active attitude to the world gives thoughts and experiences tension and epic breadth. The subtle lyricism of the poetry of Timer Yusupov deserves special attention.

His works, as a rule, are not based on the external development of the plot, but on the course of mental life, the internal struggle of feelings, drama. In most of his verses and poems, Timer Yusupov finds true words that can subtly convey the divine beauty of nature, unique spiritual experiences. In his lyrics, subtle sensitivity, emotionality is closely intertwined with civilian pathos.

The inspiration of the lyrics of the Timer Yusupov, walking “through centuries, like through stars”, new shades gave Bashkir poetry, and the swiftness and scale inherent in time are manifested in the author’s thoughts. In the work of Timer Yusupov, not only the problem of “hopeless villages” was posed with all the acuteness, but also the problem of the future native language, the national spirit, the fate of the whole people.

In life, the poet was simple and frank, always tuned to communicate with people, often met with readers. The famous film director was his son Bulat Yusupov. In honor of the poet, regional competitions in the national wrestling are held annually in Poestovo. In the Duvansky district, it has become a good tradition to hold the zonal scientific and practical conference "Yusupov readings". He is a honored culture worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
