What do you need to know the designer about the customer before starting work?

How does the work of a designer in Russia differ from work abroad? How to get to Elle Decoration? Read the answers in an interview: - Anastasia, tell us about your work methods. You say that your interiors reflect the psychology and nature of the owners. What questions do you usually ask the customer before starting work and what do you focus on? This is a fairly voluminous questionnaire, which allows you to find out the personality of a person, his psychology and the features of the perception of the surrounding space from all sides.

The answers to these questions give an idea: how a person lives, what he dreams of, what he likes or does not like, he is an introvert or an extrovert, what memories from his childhood warm his soul, what tactile and color preferences and much more. After all, a person who recalls his grandmother with warmth, keeping paper publications and an old lampshade, loving pastel colors, natural materials, spending all his free time at home, the lark by nature and the creator is more inclined to enveloping, cozy interior, to the country style or classic, rustling fabrics, flowers in the colors vases.

He has associative thinking and there is sincerity in everything. Or a person for whom the fast rhythm of the city is important, he is constantly in motion. For him, the house is a place to solve purely household issues. The environment should be comfortable, maintaining its speed, interests, to be ascetic, modern, restrained in paints and textures, but at the same time reflect its character.

Agree, without subtle psychological issues, and raising deep memories of the personality, it is impossible to feel and give a person exactly what he wants, namely, the interior in which he will feel at home. Tell us about the features of work in these countries. What difficulties did you come across? How does the work of the interior designer in Russia differ from the work of designers in Europe and Asia?

First of all, this is a different mentality of customers, and in the second these are the features of the legislation and the organization of the construction process. In Russia, everything is close to us, of course, there are connections, there is no language barrier, everyone has the same mentality. We know our construction legislation, we understand how to communicate with a team of builders in any corner of our vast Motherland.

But beyond its borders there are many differences: there is a certain rules of construction, each country has its own culture, the rhythm of life, and values. All this changes: the style of communication, the presentation of information and the very concept of the interior. Have you offered them cooperation or the editors of the magazine yourself went to your interior? They asked for the rights to his publishing house in the electronic version.

What role does the track system based on RULLO lamp plays? What zones are highlighted by sconces of muro and spotlights Modo? Since from the 19th floor there is a view of the sky and crowns of trees, this transition was performed due to the color combination, we settled on green and blue tones. Rullo lamps are one of my loved ones, I like their small size and the ability to direct the light to the desired object or in the right direction.

And at the expense of the track, these lamps can be rearranged and added to lighting or, conversely, dose. Bra Muro illuminates the area above the chest of drawers, this is a place for beautiful little things, photo frames and candlesticks. We invited the hostess to make lateral lighting in this zone, this approach adds comfort. We used Modo lamps in another project in the LCD house on the Neva, they look very easy on the ceiling.

The customer approved them at the design stage and asked not to be changed under any conditions. Recently, chandeliers rarely perform the function of the main lighting and are more often used as a decorative source of light. Why is this happening, in your opinion, and what do you most often choose as the main lighting? I think that with a variety of interior areas and their zoning, one light source is not able to fulfill all the functions in sufficient volume.

For example, the kitchen-dining room: here is the dining table, in another place the island of the kitchen, in the third, the hob and so on, and in each zone a certain light is required. At the table, he creates an atmosphere of relaxation, encourages us to have a good time, feel the taste of food and enjoy communication with loved ones.

And above the kitchen surface, you need light, which will save fingers when cutting the products, accurately measure the ingredients and not miss dust dust. As we see, one chandelier is not able to give us the same effect in such different requests. With all the advantages, this lighting technology has a democratic pricing policy. And an even more important point for me is the transparency of the order system, the availability and availability of goods, which guarantees the preservation of the deadlines for the delivery of objects to customers.
