We discussed the resumption of planned medical care. During quarantine, it did not stop for oncological patients, patients in hemodialysis, etc. According to the results of the meeting, it was decided that from June 1 in Karelia the hospital and clinic would begin to return to the provision of planned medical care. Yes, we have an epidemic, but life does not stop!

Secondly, planned medical care will be provided with all precautions-15 minutes between patients, disinfection of premises, mask regime, etc. That is, as with other limiting measures that we have established at the beginning of the epidemic and gradually canceled now. When there was not a single sick person, everything was closed with us, and now, when the patients are more than four hundred, everything is opening.

Where is the logic? The answer to this question was raised at a meeting of the operational headquarters to combat coronavirus under the government of the republic, which began with the participation of the minister at 12 o’clock, immediately after the end of his video conferencing with Moscow in the Federal Center Karelia, not a single comment was made to the region - approx. I initially believed that fixed payments are better; This is a more fair approach, when the very fact of working with coronavirus infection allows you to get an additional payment and does not need to be considered hours and minutes spent with patients, the minister explains.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Health, the Karelia government prepared a resolution so that doctors for working with COVID patients in terms of regional payments could receive fixed payments. All doctors will recalculate for April, and for May the payments will be appointed in a new way. When meeting with managers and doctors, he definitely asks if they are satisfied with payments.
