Having met with Magomed Shaburov, we asked him to tell about preparations for battle against Balzai and about his work as a whole. Are you specifically tuning under the Balzai? For example, Gennady Golovkin was a very successful amateur, do you think he will achieve the same success in professional ring? How much has to be redone when working with such boxers? If we talk about Gene Golovkin, then this is a universal fighter who has everything that needs a professional boxer: a good eye, a strong blow, movement and so on.

I very often compare it with the bones of Tszyu, and this is connected not only with the nationality of Kostya’s father, the father of the Korean, but the mother is Russian, the genes are on the contrary - mother Korean, dad - Russian, they actually have a lot in common. As for the prospects, I can say for sure here: everyone who comes to us is considered as a future world champion - taking into account this prospect, we are preparing all boxers.

I hope that in the year Gennady Golovkin, Dmitry Sartison, Vitaly Tybert - despite his recent loss, I really believe in him. The promising young guy Igor Mikhalkin - we recently started working with him while conducting two fights, both won by knockouts. He has good physical data, the technique set, he managed to achieve a lot to his years in amateurs: he won the European Championship among juniors, the World Cup among police officers.

Two of them have already become world champions, the rest are quite affordable. Do you work in Universum only with Russian -speaking boxers?

If you are talking about a language barrier, then I have no such problem - in Germany I have been working as a coach for 10 years, before working at Universum for several years I trained the junior team of this country. In general, I began to work as a coach very early - even in the year, so it turns out that I have already have more than 20 years of coaching experience.
