And there was an idea that autists were a kind of cohort of not trained people. They cannot be taught. So far, such people have not tried the method of applied behavioral analysis. We study the child, study his deficiency, study his environment.

We use this environment in order to influence its behavior. When we change the environment, we change the behavior. "According to the expert analyst, this technique improves the communication of such children with the outside world. From a closed child, he becomes sociable and independent. The results for 2 years are colossal, says Marina Azimova. She believes that now the main thing is to change the culture of the perception of such children as parents and society.

Unfortunately, Marina Azimova notes, in many countries of the CIS people with various diagnoses and deviations, society is not yet ready to accept. We want it or do not want it, we must learn to live with it. And if we learn to accept the characteristics of people and will not “cut everyone under one comb”, then their lives and ours will become much better, ”said Marina Azimova.

According to the Ministry of Education, there are 1 children from 0 to 18 years old with the diagnosis of autism. In fact, there are much more such children, the director of the Asyl Marat Aitmaganbetov Center. Autism, and this is not only in Kazakhstan. We try to invite foreign experts.
