One of the initiators of the Soviet animation. A children's writer, an illustrator and a multiplier director. The biography was born in Moscow, in the family of a doctor. Father was a gifted man, his fascination with art was transmitted to his son. Vladimir entered the south male gymnasium, and in recent grades he studied already at a Soviet school. From the age of 14 he was earned: drawing diagrams for health exhibitions, diplomas for winners of sports competitions, worked as a nurse in the first communist Red Army Hospital, and physical education instructor in elementary schools.
The animation entered the art faculty of the State Technical University of Cinematography. Even during his studies, he joined the experimental production group of multipliers at the technical school Yu. Merkulov, N. Khodataev, Z. Komissarenko, Circassian Daniil Yakovlevich.
