Vasiliev was shot on charges of belonging to a counter -revolutionary group of writers, who allegedly prepared an attempt on Joseph Stalin. Childhood and youth Pavel Vasiliev was born in the city of Zasan Modern Kazakhstan in the winter of the year. Paul's parents moved to Zaysan in a year. Here, the father of the future journalist began working in a local school. In the family, Pavel was the third child - his older brother and sister died in infancy.

After returning to Khabarovsk, friends began to lead a bohemian lifestyle, which was condemned in the young Soviet state.
In the local press, condemning responses began to appear, after which Pavel decides to leave for Vladivostok. In the new city, the poet publishes his own essays in the Red Banner newspaper. In the year, the young man returned to Moscow. He begins to work as a special correspondent in the newspaper Voice of the Fisherman. On duty, the journalist went to Aral and Caspian. One of the most significant works of the poet is the poem “Fists”. In this poem, the author talks about the diversity of the Soviet village, depicts a new stage in the life of a young state. Pavel Vasiliev’s poetry has largely influenced the creative formation of other authors of that time. Despite the public recognition of the bright talent of Vasiliev, the poet began to be increasingly accusing the Soviet system of alien.
