Biography of George Belousov
Read us on New Year's Eve, we asked the famous people of the republic to recall our most remembered case. The famous Yakut TV presenter Georgy Belousov-Milov, warmly, recalls his childhood and meeting the long-awaited holiday. In the piggy bank of George, a large number of images in which he dressed up on New Year's matinees at school. He was Cheburashka, Musketer, Pinocchio and even Kaim from the fairy tale “Snow Queen”.
But he received prizes not for masquerades, but for a creative approach in the design of the wall newspaper. At least, one of these awards was remembered for him for a lifetime. I remember, I tried very hard, Watman was decorated with cotton wool, for eating beauty and sparkles in the dust, he broke glass Christmas tree toys, having stuck a newspaper with them. It turned out, indeed, very worthy.
And took first place! By the way, they had to do the whole class, but for some reason everyone shoved me at me, apparently, I was then the most artistic of all. You know, but what a prize I got: a radio receiver! Very beautiful, with a beautiful classic case. Дед Мороз мне торжественно вручил заслуженный приз. I was small in stature, it seemed that the radio was very large, of which pride overwhelmed me doubly.
But then friends-graders flew up, began to congratulate and consider the award, but so carried away that they grabbed him from my hands and fled to the classroom. When I ran to the classroom behind them, a terrible picture appeared before me: classmates have already turned on the radio in a regular outlet. My radio began to hiss, snort, sparks rained down from the outlet, then a small smoke fell.
In general, the radio burned down. Then for radio receivers there was a separate special line, which was also special, it was impossible to stick it into a regular outlet. So I was a happy owner of the radio for about five minutes, ”George laughs. Also in the memory there were memories of the gifts of those years. Each student brought a specially sewn bag for a gift to school.
He was sewn by schoolchildren themselves or their parents. I remember with what anticipation we untied the bags to look at the gift. And there, as a rule, there were one frozen apple, the same orange and sweets “Petrel”, “Karakum”, caramel and waffles. By the way, they did not throw the crust from the orange. They laid it in a jar, covered with sugar and poured with boiling water.
They covered it tightly with a lid, and after four to five days it turned out to be orange juice, with a refreshing smell. What can I say if one frozen apple filled the whole house with the aroma of summer, ”the TV presenter recalls.
