Igor Ehrenburg Biography
Photo albums poet, musician, bard, talented artist Igor Ehrenburg was born in the year in Moscow, in the family of employees. Father, Innocent Brusyakin, was an engineer. A wave of repression of the end of the X Igor also affected Igor's family: his grandfather and two maternal uncles were repressed. Igor all his life was a free artist, it was in the full sense of the word Siberit: he loved to live beautifully, widely, not bothering himself with the righteous labor.
Igor, being a charming and sociable person, was naturally endowed with the soul of the Epicurean. Life for him is the joy of communication with friends, feast, wine, guitar, songs, admiring the circle of listeners, where there were girls, young and beautiful in the forefront. Igor loved trips around the country, especially to the south - to the Crimea, to the Caucasus, to Pitsunda, where dozens of fans of his talent of both sexes always gathered around him: he was the soul of any company, its organizer, its cementing force.
In years, many of his songs were very popular, along with the songs of Vysotsky, Galich, Okudzhava. His songs were performed by such famous singers as Arkady Severny and Konstantin Belyaev. Poems and songs for Igor were the predominant value of his life, and by no means a labor impulse for the good of the Fatherland. That is why he did not escape the fate of the poet Joseph Brodsky and was exiled in the late fifties, however, not abroad, like Brodsky, but to Siberia as a parasite.
Igor was talented in all three hypostases of the author’s, bard song: as a poet, as a composer and as a performer. His music is pleasant, melodic, remembered well with his verses, and Igor’s performance was unusually artistic. The verses of I. Ehrenburg are most often autobiographical, often confessional and very witty. Igor was characterized by a style in poetry - humorous with a splash of non -normative words.
Its poetic world is the world of everyday life, it is a mosaic picture of the surrounding reality and nothing elitist, exalted. He wrote about the family hearth, about friends, about his everyday deeds and feelings. This is the attitude of a person with a good and great sense of humor, which is not alien to nothing human and which is ironic against many that he encounters in life, including himself.
Igor did not have bad empty verses. He wrote brightly, expressively, saturatedly. Igor in his verses, in any case, in many of them, piercingly lyrical as, for example, in the song "New Year" and inimitably comic and sharp in his humorous songs. The poems and songs of Igor Ehrenburg, like many other poets and bards of that time, were not officially published.
A significant part of his songs belonged to an unofficial subculture, namely, to the Barkovshchina - poetic products with a salty, strong word. But unlike Barkov, Igor’s songs and poems are not delicate, comical, ironic. There is no rude cynicism in them and only occasionally slides an unprintable, swearing word. Despite Igor’s great addiction to alcohol, his rather frequent binges that, ultimately, led him to death, Igor retained his high creative potential until the end of his days.
