Hots Namsaraev is the founder of Soviet Buryat literature. The author of works about dissolving lamas, stupid rich people and cunning poor people. The writer, whom everyone knows today as the founder of new Buryat literature, was a native of Kingin - the area where traditional Buryat book was long ago. Being a child, Hots learned literacy from a local expert on Mongolian writing.

After the Revolution of Hots, Namsarayev becomes a teacher in the Verkhne-Kozingin school. Then amateur theaters arose throughout Buryatia. One of them just organized Hots Namsarayev. His dramatic works of the 10th years remained simple in structure, and their ideological orientation was reduced to criticism of the old life through laughter over the former dominant classes and sympathy for the oppressed.
