Manic biography

The exposition affects the themes of paganism, shamanism and rituals of the post -cyphatic world, mixing work performed in different techniques, into a single psychedelic flow of images. This kind of escape, escapism is not the first time in the history of art in Russia, but now it is more acute in other cities, not in Moscow, ”this is how Sasha’s work is characterized by the work of the art of Arundart.

Manician lovers are better known under the pseudonym Holographic Internet, under which he issued mixes for such noticeable publications as Novmbre Magazine and OFLUXO. I do not have a single visual technique. Collages, photographs, drawings by acrylic and chalk, all kinds of mixed techniques - all this appears spontaneously, unconsciously, my creative process is intuitive.

I go to the touch and I do not know what will happen as a result. I began to draw with paints recently, basically I collect the images in layers from the drawings in Photoshop. In the near future I think to start working with sculpture. The exhibition at ISS Gallery is compiled from works selected from my archive over the past year and a half.

Why is the exhibition called "New Soul"? It is based on the idea of ​​sensuality. I don’t want to resort to labels, but such a movement as metamodernism could help understand what I wanted to convey to people - this is overcoming the postmodern irony and movement towards new sincerity. I like that it was possible to avoid gallery sterility - for example, the exhibition has an installation from my personal belongings.

Not even an installation, but a mini-altar, where every object is a story behind each item. For example, there is a knife made of blue opal donated to my friend with a real Indian. We always take it with us as a talisman when we go to the forest. I am not an art critic and even really not an artist, so I do not operate with terms and do everything situationally. Nevertheless, I like the term “epic collage”, because it accurately observes the desire that is in the work of many contemporary artists and musicians - not to fix life as something static, ossified, but to show its continuous process.

Life is a psychedelic stream, running into the void. In my work, ethnic leitmotif is strong. I associate this with the fact that I have Mordovian and, therefore, pagan roots. Plus, I still lived in nature in my childhood, often went to the forest, my father worked in the taiga, laid roads, lived in wild places, then worked as a forester. I always feel good in the forest. I am a little autistic and sometimes stay in a special condition.

Not even sometimes, but often. Therefore, in my work, symbolism is so manifested. The whole history of mankind shows that mythology plays a huge role and that the basic level of perception is always a symbol. It is difficult for me to express myself with the help of language: sometimes I do not understand why such words are used, and not others, and why they have just such a meaning.

And a symbol is a form by which you can come to convey something, resorting only to lines and proportions between them. The exhibition shows a sign called "Infinity is the basis of the cross." Actually, this is a Satan cross, a symbol of esotericism and alchemy, but I reassured its meaning, saw mine in it. It is similar to exorcism-you take something dark and translate it into your space, where it acquires a completely different meaning.

As a child, I did not know any genres and styles, but I began to play music from an early age-it turned out something very strange. I myself wondered: what is it? At this time, I listened only to hard metal. And somehow I played Stalker, saw at the end in the credits the inscription: “Music is composer Vladimir Frey” and stunned: Wash, was there also music? Then I learned that this is an emboss and that the so -called music that I write myself.

Of course, this was very much influenced by me. Now I will be called just Hi, as a reduction from the previous name. I decided to change Holographic Internet because it is too long. And I was also perceived as Waporweow Artist, and I do not like it, since I would not want to limit myself to one genre. Now you can record any tool, and then make it a bit or anything. I am recording Vargan, drums, voice - in general I want more vocal parties to be more.

Now I am looking for my voice, I think how to serve it. Behind them - behind open, honest and free people. They already understand a lot and at the same time susceptible to the new. Their parties and label “brother” are a very strong phenomenon that has already been noticed in the West. There have been too much techno recently. But, it seems to me that this dominance will soon stop, because it begins to bother people with people.

It's time already. My mystical experience formed me. I spent my childhood in the village, and there were many strange things. For example, about five years I went with my friends to the forest, lagged behind them and got lost. I walked for a very long time, went out in the morning, and everything around was in red and black colors.Many years later, I saw the same scene in the film “Climbing in Valgalla” and was amazed at how consonant with my memories of that walk.

And, of course, mysticism that formed me is connected with traveling to other worlds. I was very interested in the class from the sixth this topic, when I read the encyclopedia on the computer and realized that the only thing that interested me in it was the invention of Hofman. In my student years, I had a strong depression for quite some time, I was looking for some ways and realized that mushrooms needed to plant at home.

A friend came to me, tried them, fell into a trance and began to broadcast on behalf of some other essence. Then he told me to eat them too, and it was a catalyst, the starting point of everything that is happening to me now. That evening I saw in the mirror of the devil. I did not fully understand what the essence of atheism is. I see that a person is good, but when he calls himself an atheist, I do not understand how.

I like the fusion of scientific and religious approaches-I think the answers need to be sought in this, and not in one thing. My friends and I found a place for power in Azino: a clearing on a hill, where the whole area is visible. We went there several times, and there is a very special atmosphere. Once we came with a camera and a flashlight and made a mini-film, for which I then wrote music.

It turned out such a video shift. There is a Kapella Korn, mixed with a hard Noise, and Masop from the Tattoos and Popol Vuh music from the film “Agirre, the Anger of God”. I really want a stadium stroke. It is no coincidence that I like Kanye West. He is close to me in his spirit. A strange man, modern Alexander of Macedon-such people pave the way for something new, but they themselves suffer.
