Inessa Lvovna bim biography
Teacher-legend, teacher from God. So they say about those who not only have huge knowledge, but also gifted with something incomparably greater-what is called talent and gift. The fact that it is impossible to purchase, buy, learn, develop anywhere - for the gift of the Creator. The associate professor of the department of Germanic languages and the methods of teaching the Institute of Foreign Languages of Ryazan State University named after Communication with such a person as Inessa Lvovna has become a turning point in my life, because it is one of those people who can rightfully be called life mentors.
From ordinary teachers and teachers, they are distinguished by the fact that they not only teach and raise a person - they lead him in life, teach wisdom, make him a personality and leave a deep mark in the soul. When I went to graduate school after graduation, I was not sure that after defending the dissertation I would continue to work in the field of education.
I thought I would receive a scientific degree, this will give additional bonuses when applying for a job, and I will work in some international company. Now I understand - if I did just that, it would be a big mistake. Communication with the Inessa Lviv helped me better understand myself, to establish myself that teaching and science are exactly what I should do. In her personal example, Inessa Lvovna taught to remain faithful to herself, her purpose, no matter how circumstances.
What always struck me in Inessa Lvovna is her amazing ability to work. I once calculated: for those three years, while I wrote a dissertation, it managed to update the line of textbooks for secondary school, write new textbooks for the primary and senior stage, develop the concept of specialized teaching foreign languages, write and release a monograph on specialized education ... and this is not counting numerous articles, reports, performances at conferences, work of graduate students.
Inessa Lvovna treated us, her graduate students with the greatest respect. She always made us understand that we are her colleagues who were able to solve scientific problems along with her. I remember my surprise when, after working with the doctoral student, I. Bim addressed me with the question: “Andrey, what do you think, what name would suit this dissertation? But a little later I realized - but this was also part of our training, education, formation as researchers!
Feeling such a high degree of trust from Inessa Lvovna, we tried to match her expectations. Once, among the colleagues of the department of foreign languages, RAO started a conversation on an eternal philosophical theme - what is the meaning of life. Various opinions were expressed, and at the end of Inessa Lvovna said an amazing phrase: “You know, life makes no sense until we prepare our continuation, our successors.” Natural giftedness, intelligence of the highest level, systemic thinking, iron logic, professional competence, civil position provided the contribution that Inessa Lvovna made to science.
Her scientific publications and the teaching materials were the basis for the professional development of many generations of teachers of the German language, other foreign languages, and also had a synergistic effect in relation to the methodology of teaching other subjects. And if we managed to do something in the profession, then this is only because we “stood on the shoulders of such giants” as Inessa Lvovna.
But what memories of the other graduate student of Inessa Lvovna Bim - professor, doctors of pedagogical sciences, the Department of Linguistics and Linguidactics of the Tambov GU named after Before entering graduate school, I knew its German language textbooks, monographs, numerous publications in the journal Foreign Languages at School. It was extremely important for me to study with Inessa Lvovna.
She headed a working group at that time to develop a project of a temporary state educational standard in foreign languages. A new concept of final certification was required, new studies in the field of language testing were needed. It was very interesting to me. From Inessa Lvovna, the nobility of the spirit always came, which everyone who surrounded her felt and appreciated.
I was lucky to meet her family. I often visited her at home, talked a lot with her husband, Semyon Isaakovich, who was a very bright and extremely erudite person. He was vividly interested in business at the Academy, rejoiced at the successes of Inessa Lvovna, took care of that she cherished herself, did not sit down for a long time for manuscripts. In these peculiar reproaches, so much love and human warmth was hidden that it was impossible not to feel the touching relationship between two middle -aged people who retained their love for each other.
Despite her age, Inessa Lvovna went on trips around the country and abroad to take part in the next conference or seminar. It seems that Inessa Lvovna did not have free time. This does not mean that she had no other hobbies except work. She knew the literature, painting. At one time, she was even fond of wood carvings. I saw her work, her tools are special knives that she once brought from Japan.
Inessa Lvovna had a sophisticated taste. Inessa Lvova as a supervisor, as a lecturer, as a speaker at a conference, has never set the task of impressing or surprising the audience.
At the same time, she always struck and surprised her ability to attract the attention of the listeners. Her speeches were always clumsy, but not deprived of a figurative language that helped better understand the essence of a complex problem or phenomenon. Inessa Lvovna has always called herself a "systematic man". Have any conflicts arose? There were disputes of a scientific nature.
Inessa Lvovna was able to listen to the end. And her comments were always unobtrusive, but provoked to speculate of important aspects, which so much could be released from the field of view. Now I understand that only a wise person and a real teacher could do this. This was exactly what was Inessa Lvovna, my supervisor. About the five milestones of the creative path of Academician Inessa Lvovna Bim, her former graduate student tells, and now the head.
Any story about her will always be a story about her pedagogical creativity. Let us recall only five milestones of its creative way: 1. In the year, the famous book of I. Bim appeared “Methods of teaching foreign languages as a science and the problems of a school textbook”, which not only described and considered the essence of the domestic system of teaching foreign languages, but also the foundations of the theory of a foreign language textbook, which ensured further successful development and publication of textbooks of a new type, consistently implemented the provisions of the created system.
In the year, the first educational and methodological complex in the German language for the 4th grade is published, developed by I. Bim in co-authorship with A. Golotina, consisting of a book for a student, a book for a teacher, later supplemented with a workbook and visual materials. Their timely creation and implementation allow our national system of teaching foreign languages and today to comply with the world level.
In the year, the fundamental work of I. Bim “Theory and practice of teaching the German language in high school” is published, which for many years becomes a table book not only for school teachers, but also by teachers of universities, students and methodologists. The book sets out the basics of communicative teaching a foreign language in relation to the domestic system of teaching a foreign language in high school.
In the year, the “Concept of teaching the German language as a second foreign on the basis of English” is published, which sets out the theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching a second foreign language in a Russian secondary school. This work theoretically summarizes the huge practical experience in the development and use of a series of German textbooks as a second foreign language published from the year.
In the year, under the leadership of I. Bim, another innovative product is created and introduced - a two -level German textbook for grade 10. This teaching materials is focused on the further development of the level of communicative competence acquired in a main school - the pan -European pre -rests and most important achievement of I. Bim - its huge contribution to the creation of a domestic system of teaching foreign languages, which continues to develop and improve and improves fruitfully on this basis.
Now Alla Viktorovna is a doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, director of the Institute of Foreign Languages GOU VPO “Moscow City Pedagogical University”, chairman of the Academic Council of the Institute of Foreign Languages. I was always amazed in Inessa Lvovna Bim a sense of modernity. She was ahead of all events, foresaw them, was aware of everything.
In the eighties, Inessa Lvovna was the initiator of the introduction of a second foreign language into a program for special schools. In the nineties, B. Yeltsin again tried to abolish special schools, as it was once in the sixties. But Inessa Lvovna could call anyone, go to a meeting with anyone, just to achieve a resolution of the issue in the interests of the case.
The authority of Inessa Lvovna was unconditional. Her word has always been decisive. It was impressed to me that she was always interested in her students, as things at home, showed interest in everyone's life. Inessa Lvovna was demanding on her and her work. I ran into this special close when I worked with her in collection on textbooks. I could say a straightforce if I saw any violations, argued reasonably to the person, which he is wrong.
Formally, I did not study academically with Inessa Lvovna, but studied everyday things. She taught me to be more demanding of myself and what I am doing. Inessa Lvovna Bim is a whole era in the teaching methodology, an outstanding person and scientist. Happiness, when it is possible to meet the teacher of a sincere, with a rich inner world, infinitely devoted to a great science.Inessa Lvovna Bim was a man of the kindest soul and high civil duty, who boldly opposed any manifestations of unprincipled, falsehood and pseudoscience.
Her colleagues, who shared with us memories of her, are happy people to whom fate gave such luck, to be her students. You must leave the comment to leave the comment. Search search.
