Bonfire biography
As often happens, the composition of the group did not differ in stability, but by the end of X in "Cacumen", this was the name of the project at that time two leaders: vocalist Klaus Lessman and guitarist Hans Tsiller. At the beginning of X, the team released a couple of albums, after which the sign was changed to Bonfire. Due to the successful combination of gravity and melodism, the first plate, released under a new name, became one of the most successful releases among German groups.
The second album, FireWorks, was generally a classic of Bundes-Havy and lasted 30 weeks in national charts. In addition, the group earned good concert popularity and quite successfully performed in the same connection with ZZ Top and Judas Priest. During the next sessions, which, as before, was headed by Michael Wager, Hans quarreled with management and went to organize the EZ Livin project.
Despite this loss, work on Point Blank was brought to the end, and the accompanying tour was held with the Angels. In the year, the Knock Out album pricked by the poppy album appeared on sale. The sound on it was noticeably easier, and the main emphasis was on the melody. Such a turn liked a few, and Bonfire lost a significant number of fans. Lessman slapped the door, and the remaining musicians tried to cut down, hiring Michael Bormann from Jaded Heart as vocalist.
However, nothing good came out of their venture, and the group broke up in the year. This release made them think about the revival of the former team, but they had to spend a lot of time to regain their rights in the name of "Bonfire". Only in M, having finished with legal ejaculation, the musicians released the “Feels Like Coming Home” disc, which was based on English -language variants of things with “Glaub Dran”.
However, in the same year, “Bonfire” created another work in German, “Freudenfeuer”, but this plate came out of a limited edition and quickly became the pride of collectors. The last work was completed in the spirit of early releases, and thanks to it, the group returned the location of the fans. Continuing in the same spirit, the “Bonfire” was thrown into the market “Fuel to the Flames”, which rose to the lines and spent seven weeks in the charts.
The album "Strike X" turned out to be not so successful, although the musicians from Ingolstadt still tried to adhere to their roots. The tour in his support was perfectly held, but, nevertheless, at the end of them, the “long -liver” Chris Laussman Guitar left the “long -liver”, keyboards. However, the team did not have the first time to solve personnel problems, and, replacing one Chris with another Limburg, Bonfire released the concert "Live Over Europe".
In m, the group conducted a tour of the WHITESNAKE warm -up and drove the Free studios into national charts. After that, the musicians tried to change the landmarks and recorded the acoustic concert "One Acoustic Night - Live At the Music Club". The experiment, however, did not last long, and soon the team returned to the classic sound. The “Bonfire” was noted by the anniversary tour and the release of the album with the symbolic name “Double X”.
Its concert version was called "Double Vision", and in M the team swung to create the rock opera "The Rauber", made on the basis of the work of Friedrich Schiller.
