And it was a great school, the best, probably, a way to interact with the viewer: you see a reaction directly on the stage, liked it or not, funny or not really.

In this regard, KVN was a window into the world of television, many scriptwriters with academic education complain that KVNSHERS captured the entire broadcast, they are everywhere, now because of them they can’t break anywhere. But we really had what they were told only in theory, we had direct contact with the viewer, there, standing on the stage, we studied, noted, noticed, remembered.

We felt the soil, let's say so. Well, in general, it’s no secret that ninety percent of the graduates of the scenario and directorial faculties of VGIK are not working in their specialty. It generally seems to me that it is better to become a screenwriter at a later age, when there is some kind of life experience. You can study at a needy structure anywhere, but an unusual experience that will be interesting to someone else needs to be acquired.

KVN helps to connect to the mass viewer, who is just interesting to the industry. And besides the fact that the audience reaction is an instant returns, an objective assessment of your work, humor and work done, KVN still teaches a lot. This is the ability to improvise. There I saw just how people get on TV. And then I realized that it was not cosmically transformed, but, nearby, absolutely real. The process itself is interesting. It doesn’t matter where you come from, who you are, from anywhere in the world you can send letters to several people at once, and they will receive them within a few seconds. He blurred the boundaries between cities and countries.

It is now possible to send the script at once to several people at once, all of them, again, if you wish, you can find both contact, and it does not matter who you are, where are you from. That's exactly how I started working with producers, I just sent my work, sent it, while I lived in Gomel. To the question of whether it is possible to become a scriptwriter without living in Moscow - the only question is how much it wants.

I’m not just saying all the time that this is absolutely real, it is my personal experience. Without education, a diploma by specialty, without connections, relatives and other things. There was no magic, everything is just like that and difficult at the same time. He worked in a large film company, received feedback - my teachers were wonderful. Sometimes there was a feeling that there was not enough specialized education, but at VGIK it was a long time to study, it would take a lot of time, and there were a lot of private film schools, they raised questions.

As a result, he studied on his own mistakes, stuffed cones, constantly read books on scenario skills, listened to every word of senior comrades of producers, editors, more experienced authors, studied in the way, we can say - immediately in the audience, made conclusions, looking at the ratings and comments on the Internet.
