Tkachenko Sergey Biography
The boy was not even a year when his parents moved to Bolgrad - a small district town nearby. Even before school, father and uncle Sergey taught him the rules of chess. In the third grade, Tkachenko went to the club, where the patronage of him was taken by the champion of Bolgrad Ivan Arnautov. Soon, the newcomer became the champion of the city among young men, and then performed the first category in the adult championship.
Sergey became a candidate for master already while studying in Kyiv. Leafing through the year of the magazine “Chess in the USSR”, the boy came across an announcement of the competition of sketches in honor of the flight of the famous composer John Roirroft. Tkachenko sent a slightly edited blow from his party in the regional championship to the competition. As a result, Roiproft awarded Odessa a special debut prize!
Soon Tkachenko met with the famous local tracetizer Nikolai Mansaryli, who became his first teacher in the field of compiling tasks. Sergei abandoned the practical game and began to devote the composition of all his free time. After graduating from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, he was distributed to Odessa at the October Revolution Plant, where another famous tracet Yuri Gordian worked as deputy initial foundry workshop.
And thanks to the famous Odessa festivals in Tkachenko’s work, a qualitative leap occurred. Sergey Tkachenko is one of the most famous studies of our time. Honored Master of Sports, grandmaster of Ukraine in composition. World Chess composition champion in the Ukrainian national team, five -time champion of Ukraine in the compilation of studies. Recently, the grandmaster has been engaged in historical research, they have completely many finds among the long -standing events of the chess life of Odessa, Ukraine and the USSR.
The author of the books “Revelation of the Chess Wanderer” Autobiographical book, “Tigran Gorgiev - maestro of chess sketches”, “The facet of chess art Andrei Selivanov”, “Chess Pearl by the Sea” about chess Odessa, “Odessa Secrets of Alexander Alekhin”, “Savior Alekhin” about masters Yakov Vilner, “Combor of chess figures. At the All -Ukrainian Literary Competition of the Year, Tkachenko won the second place.
For the first time in the history of Ukraine, the literary recognition of writers received chess books. Sergei Tkachenko is conducting a “short study” section on the Chesspro website. In a seemingly hopeless position, a paradoxical pointer is suddenly located, the subtleties of which will be clarified only at the very end of the solution. Such creations are remembered for a long time.
I strongly recommend that the chess players, without exception, is the solution of sketches from this book. For a skilled player, this is an excellent training for calculating and combination vision; For a beginner is a happy opportunity to feel the magic and inexhaustibility of chess. For these purposes, Sergey's sketch is ideal! Behind every work he sees the person who created it.
Therefore, the sketch revelations of the chess wanderer are interspersed with delicious-Sergey’s favorite word-essays about those who once instructed him on a path of searches, and about those who still share with him a difficult, but such sweet work of knowledge of truth. It does not surprise me that the author of the book has recently become interested in archival excavations, because they are akin to sketch insights: true finds are rare, but unique.
In this field, I also expect a lot of revelations from Tkachenko ”S. Tkachenko spent several years in the archives, only to get into which it would seem, an unsolvable problem. But this is all of Tkachenko. His amazing pressure, his desire to find the truth manifests itself not only in outstanding studies, but also in life. For all that, Tkachenko is an amazingly soft and intelligent person who is simply impossible not to love.
